July Meeting Notes

We had a really fun meeting this week. We took care of the guild business and then broke into mini groups. Everyone learned something new!

Recipes from the July Meeting

Cheese Ball

2pkg cream cheese
1/2 c green onion shopped fine
1 20 oz crushed pineapple drained and dried
1 T. Mayo
1 jar Kraft Rocka Bleu Cheese

Mix and form into a ball. Refrigerate overnight. Roll in finely slivered almonds and cherries.


Fruit Ice Cream - makes 6 quarts

Juice from 3 lemons
Juice from 3 oranges
4c. pineapple juice
1 20oz can crushed pineapple
1 10oz jar of maraschino cherries cur in half with juice
4 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. whipping cream
milk

Mix juices and sugar together and stir until dissolved. Freeze for 20 minutes. Add 3 eggs and beat until frothy. Add 3 cups whipping cream and beat. Put into ice cream freezer. Add milk to fill line. Run freezer until the ice cream is frozen.

July meeting is this week!

Hey we're looking forward to the meeting coming up this weekend at 10am at the Handi Quilter Studio in North Salt Lake. We're going to have a lot of good information and great food! Come and visit with us!

In July we will have several mini classes, about 20 minutes, then you rotate to the next. If you told me, after the meeting, that you have a class and would be willing to share it, please send me a description to add to the agenda.
