November meeting notes


Great tips for you!

Education – Bethanne Nemesh at  www.whitearborquilting.com and Lisa H Calle at https://www.lisahcalle.com have great long arm info and tips. Lisa has great tips for using the Quilter’s Groove rulers. 

HMQS is going to be sold after the death of Vickie Hundert. More news on that coming up. 

2017 Officer’s Election –

September meeting is coming!!

Ruby Jubilee Quilt:

Wren and Gay are working on the quilt.  Lousie will do the inside piecing. Connie will put on the borders and Leslie will do the binding.


Quilt Fest Donations:
Our guild is donating baskets. Darlene will provide 2 baskets.  Joylynn will assemble the baskets.  Everyone is invited to donate something for the basket.  We discussed donating Long Arm type supplies since that is our guild purpose.  Please bring these to our meeting or get them to Joylynn before our meeting.

Education:
Wren showed us the Inside Ruler Technique

These are due!  Please make your check for $15 to SL/Ogden Longarm Guild.

Nancy has worked in the medical field for a long time and shared some of her expertise with us.  If you weren’t there, you really missed out!  I didn’t write everything down but here are some of the awesome tips she provided to help us with specific physical symptoms that occur with long arm quilting. Good to know!
